1. Privacy-First Processing

VaultPDF processes your documents entirely in your browser. Your files are never uploaded to our servers for most tools (merge, split, compress, convert, watermark, etc.). All processing happens client-side using JavaScript.

2. Server-Side Processing

For certain tools that require server-side processing (such as OCR), files are encrypted in your browser before upload, processed on our secure servers, and automatically deleted within 1 hour of processing. We do not read, store, or share your file contents.

3. Data We Collect

• Usage analytics (page views, tool usage) via anonymized analytics
• Basic account information (email) if you create an account
• Subscription and billing information (via Stripe) if you subscribe

4. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management, and optional analytics cookies to improve our service. You can disable analytics cookies at any time.

5. Third-Party Services

We use Google Analytics for anonymized usage statistics and Google AdSense for advertising. These services may set their own cookies. We do not sell your personal data to any third party.
